Bounty on the Boulevard
Because of the COVID-19 “stay at home” orders from Governor Newson, we have postponed this year’s Bounty on the Boulevard event to Sunday, October 4, 2020. The Foundation’s premier annual fund-raising event will return a third time but with a few fresh new twists. Once again, “Bounty on the Boulevard” guests will enjoy a Mingle Session to Mingle Hour with a variety of appetizers, wines and brews from local purveyors prior to sitting down for a five-course Farm to Fork feast featuring freshly prepared ingredients.
The first two sold-out “Bounty on the Boulevards” took place outdoors at Old Town Plaza, in the historic heart of Elk Grove, under the helm of Bret Bohlmann, chef and owner of Boulevard Bistro. This year the venue will shift to Elk Grove’s District56 Civic Center at 8230 Civic Center Drive. This newly-dedicated facility will provide more comfortable seating for guests — including air-conditioning! Heading up the culinary team for 2020 will be Chef Rebecca Pasqual of Sheldon Inn Restaurant & Bar. Chefs from a number of other area restaurants will again be working with Chef Pasqual, providing their own creative specialties to insure a truly memorable dining experience.
The event supports the Elk Grove Regional Scholarship Foundation in covering the costs associated with awarding student scholarships. In 2019, 161 scholarships totaling over $252,000 were awarded to students in the Elk Grove area. Now is your chance to be a sponsor and help our mission of providing scholarship to graduating seniors. If you would like to be a sponsor please fill out our form or contact us at 916-685-7118.
