Getting Involved

There are many ways to become involved with the Elk Grove Regional Scholarship Foundation:

Volunteering

Below are some examples of how you can become involved in the Foundation:

  1. Become a Board Member – The Board Members make important decisions that impact the students in our community by providing the opportunity for families, service clubs, businesses, individuals, and families to give students scholarships to help them further their education.
  2. Reading and Scoring Scholarships – Volunteering to read and score scholarships is an experience you will not forget. You will be moved by the personal stories that the students have to tell and discover how involved they are in their school and community.
  3. Become a member of a Planning Committee for our Fundraiser – This fundraiser is a fun-filled evening where members of the community come together to support the organization that supports students in our community by providing scholarships. This event cannot exist without community members who are dedicated, so come out and join the group for some fun!
  4. Become a member of a Planning Committee for our Spotlight on Scholarship Event – At this event, we bring the scholarship winner and the donor of the scholarship together for a dinner and award celebration. It is truly an inspiring evening where we hear entertainment from a high school Jazz Band, Choir, and Color Guard as well as learning more about the scholarships, donors, and scholarship awardees. Come be part of this wonderful evening by helping plan it.
