Minimum Required Grade Point Average: 2.0
Financial Need: Preference Given
Post Secondary Type of School: 4 year university, community college, vocational school, or job training program
Specific Requirements for Applying: None
Attendance Requirement: Full-Time Student or Part-Time Student 6 units/credits
Required Participation in School Activities: Not Required
Required Participation in Community Activities: Not Required
Additional Qualifications: The student must be or have been in the foster youth system during the senior year. Write a short essay describing your experience in the foster youth system and your education/or career goals. The foster youth student who is awarded this scholarship must complete a legal release, which will be provided by the Elk Grove Regional Scholarship Foundation, and If the student is under 17, the release must also be signed by the student’s guardian.
