Financial Need: Preference Given
Post Secondary Type of School: 4 Year University or Community College
Specific Requirements for Applying: Must have attended Samuel Kennedy for at least one full year. Preference given to Florin or Valley High students.
Attendance Requirement: Full-Time Student or Part-Time Student with with 6+ units
Required Participation in School Activities: Yes

Required Letters of Recommendation: 2 Letters – 1 from School Employee, 1 from Community Service Involvement/Community Service leader

Samuel Kennedy School was the first school built by the Elk Grove Unified School District after the elementary schools of the area and Elk Grove High School unified into one district in 1959. This annual scholarship will be awarded to a former Samuel Kennedy elementary student graduating from an Elk Grove high school.
